Welcome at the Dress gallery of the Cameronians

At this page you can view the piper uniforms of the famous Cameronians, a Lowland regiment.
They were disbanded in 1968.

Every uniform is coded in red and when going through the booking, with this corresponding code it is easier to retrieve in which Dress the Piper is whished to perform.. For example: The code for No 2 dress Cam 1



Cameronian Pipe major redford Barracks, Scotland

No 2 dress

This a Pipe Majors outfit of the Cameronians. Kilt is of Mc Douglas Modern tartan, military pleated to the stripe. Belt with 'Rifles' insignia. Jacket with black Cameronians buttons and 'collar dogs' with insignia of the Cameronians. Rank insignia are in contrary with the 'regular' units black on rifle green. Glengarry is a dark green one with a black 'pompom' . McDouglas tartan hoses, , white spats and a horsehair sporran (model end 1800's). Glengarry is being worn with a cock feather.

No 2c dress

As 2 dress but with daydress sporran and Lovat green full hoses. Tunic choice is available put picture hasn’t been taken yet.
